I’m getting pretty sick of seeing people post these images and say how “awesome” this is.
This guy, Timur Rimut, sedated his cat and tattooed it. He’s a tattoo “artist”.
There are SO MANY reasons why this is a fucking sick thing to do. Some have argued that as the cat was sedated, it felt no pain so it’s not cruel. Okay. Okay. Have you had a tattoo?! The pain whilst it’s being done isn’t (in my opinion) as bad as the healing when it itches like a bitch and feels like a bad bruise if you touch it/knock it against something. Cats can barely reach this part of their body apart from with their tongue, so this poor little kitty will be in a lot of discomfort and not know why or be able to stop it. Also, who’s to say cats feel this pain the same way we do? It could be much worse.

… Seriously? As if giving cats pointless operations is commonplace? Or as if cats have a choice between operations and tattos?! You are an idiot.
Also… A VET WAS THERE. A VET. Do you not become a vet to HELP animals?!
And Carpe Diem?! Does a cat need to be branded about seizing the day?!
People constantly reblog pictures of animal cruelty and go on about how bad it is (of course I agree) but many have said this is acceptable?! Can someone explain to me HOW?!
He shouldn’t be allowed to tattoo people any more, let alone animals. Fuck.
